Choose the right glue
Choose special glue according to the characteristics of PVC marble slabs. Common ones include PVC special glue, epoxy glue, etc. PVC special glue has good adhesion to PVC materials, while epoxy glue has high bonding strength and good durability. It should be noted that the glue should meet national environmental protection standards and avoid using glue containing a large amount of harmful substances such as formaldehyde and benzene to ensure indoor air quality.
Refer to the product manual and manufacturer's recommendations to choose glue suitable for the installation environment. For example, when installing in a humid environment (such as a bathroom), you should choose glue with waterproof properties; in an environment with large temperature changes, choose glue with good flexibility to adapt to the expansion and contraction of the board.
Correct use of glue
Strictly follow the instructions for use of the glue. Generally, the glue needs to be fully stirred to ensure that the components of the glue are well mixed. For example, two-component glue should be accurately mixed according to the specified ratio, otherwise it will affect the bonding performance of the glue.
The amount of glue applied should be moderate. Applying too little glue will result in a loose bond, while applying too much glue may cause glue overflow, affecting the appearance and making it difficult to clean. Usually the glue is applied with a thickness of about 2-3mm. Apply glue evenly on the base and the back of the PVC marble slab, and pay attention to applying it on the edges to avoid loose adhesion at the corners.
