Curing and post-processing
Glue curing
Let the glue fully cure according to the time and conditions specified in the glue product manual. The curing time will be affected by environmental factors such as temperature and humidity. Generally speaking, an environment with high temperature and moderate humidity is conducive to the rapid curing of glue, but too high temperature (exceeding the applicable temperature range specified by the glue) may cause the glue to fail. During the curing of the glue, avoid external interference of the board, such as collision, vibration, etc.
Inspection and reinforcement
After the glue is cured, carefully check the pasting of the PVC marble board. Check whether there are hollows, warping or loose adhesion. For the problems found, appropriate measures can be taken for reinforcement. For example, for small areas of hollows, you can drill holes in the hollows, inject an appropriate amount of glue, and then compact it with a heavy object; for the edges that are not firmly adhered, you can re-apply glue and fix it.
Reserve expansion space and fill the gaps
Considering that PVC marble slabs may expand and contract due to temperature changes and other factors, appropriate expansion gaps should be reserved between slabs and between slabs and surrounding fixtures (such as wall corners, door and window frames, etc.), generally 2-3mm. The gaps can be filled with a caulking agent that is similar in color to the slab. The caulking agent should have a certain degree of elasticity and durability, which can not only ensure the decorative effect, but also provide space for the expansion and contraction of the slab to prevent deformation or damage to the slab due to thermal expansion and contraction.
