PS board and acrylic board are common plastic sheets with similar appearance and texture, but in practical applications, they have some differences.
1. Material difference: PS board is made of polystyrene material, while acrylic board is made of polymethyl methacrylate material.
2. UV resistance: PS board is slightly inferior in terms of UV resistance compared to acrylic board.
3. Strength: Acrylic board is more resistant to high temperature, impact, and hardness than PS board.
4. Transparency: Acrylic boards are more transparent, while PS boards have slightly lower transparency.
5. Color selection: Acrylic boards have a wider range of color choices, while PS boards typically only have white and transparent colors available.
In practical applications, these differences will affect the specific usage situation. Generally speaking, PS boards are mainly used in the production of relatively simple flat advertisements, logos, promotional materials, and other products. Their production cost is relatively low and they are also relatively lightweight. Acrylic boards, on the other hand, are often used to create high-end advertising lightboxes, display venues, product displays, and other occasions. They have a higher texture and better transparency, but their prices are also correspondingly higher.
