Here are some things to note when buying UV boards:
1. Observe the appearance: The decorative effect should be good, the appearance of UV wood veneer panels should have a good aesthetic feeling, the material should be fine and uniform, the color should be clear, and the wood grain should be beautiful. The texture of the matching board and the parquet should be arranged according to a certain rule, the natural color should be similar, and the joints should be almost parallel to the edge of the board.
2. Check the flatness: The surface should be as flat as possible, and there should be no obvious large particles when looking against the light. Generally speaking, poor quality UV boards may have more particles on the surface.
3. Identify the surface gloss: Good quality UV boards have a higher gloss, which can achieve a mirror-like highlight effect and can clearly reflect a person's shadow. Poor quality boards have a darker gloss.
4. Pay attention to the thickness: Avoid choosing products with non-standard thickness or too thin, because the thinner the thickness, the worse the quality may be. For example, the actual thickness of a 3mm UV board should be between 2.6mm and 2.9mm, and the actual thickness of a 5mm board should be between 4.6mm and 4.9mm.
5. Smell: Choose boards with low formaldehyde emission and avoid products with pungent odor. Good quality UV boards use substrates with formaldehyde content that meets national standards and use UV paints of good quality. When they just come out of the production line, they may have a little smell because the heat has not been completely dissipated, but the smell will disappear after a period of time. If the smell emitted by the UV board does not dissipate for a long time and is very pungent, then its substrate may be poor and the formaldehyde content is high.
6. Understand the material: Recognize the difference between artificial veneer and natural wood veneer. The texture of the former is basically straight and the pattern is regular; while the latter is a natural wood pattern with a large natural variation in texture and pattern and no regularity.
